The multi-volume, four-storey, modern commercial building will encompass 126,000 square feet of top tier office space, set for completion by 2020.”

Only unionized trades are being hired for work at the union’s headquarters. Cdn. Power Pac’s scope on this LEED Silver certification Project includes lighting, controls, emergency lighting, the supply and install of voice/data, fire alarm, security and access control system, distribution, generator & ATS and car park receptacles and EV charging stations.

“The new home of AUPE,
the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees, has been designed unconventionally by Next Architecture in an effort to foster a number of aims, from interpersonal creative collaboration to environmental sustainability” and
Cdn. Power Pac
is excited to have the opportunity to work on a project that offers a net positive urban result.
